Editor’s note: Vogue Runway is closing out the decade by adding six archival Chanel shows to our collections archive. They honor the memory of Karl Lagerfeld, the giant and prolific talent who designed them, and speak to the 2010s obsession with all things 1990s.
Next year’s Costume Institute’s Spring 2023 exhibition will be a retrospective on Karl Lagerfeld’s work, so his pieces will be even more in demand.
The color is truly gorgeous; photos 3-8 are the most accurate and capture the color the best.
