Fabulous Faux Fur Animal Print 1960s Coat
I LOVE animal prints and I treat them as a neutral. Animal prints are a great way to make a statement whether it’s in a shoe, purse, belt or, in this case, a faux fur coat.
This coat is from 1960s and it’s a good example of you can get something fabulous at a fraction of the cost with vintage. And with vintage it’s something unique that no one else will have.
It’s also a good example of how you can buy a piece that looks very similar to what’s on the current runway—again at a much lower price point and with a little more character. The last image is from Fall 2021 Saint Laurent looks—I had posted it to my boards as inspiration for a look I want to create for myself.
I know it’s April, but I couldn’t wait to post this one on the site. Plus, in San Francisco area (where I live), you can need a coat year round. Did I mention that the inside lining is red?!
